Newbie BC/CC questions again

I just finished shooting the high build primer on our car and it had some orange peel in a few areas. It is not a problem because I am sanding it and going to shoot a sealer coat with PPG epoxy primer followed by BC/CC
My questions:
I have been reading here about time windows for chemical adhesion in the some primer or sealer coats. I can find nothing in the PPG epoxy Tech Sheet. It will be about 1 week before I will BC/CC. I think I have information overload.
Is it a problem for me?
If i get some orange peel or a run in my BC, what is the best way to handle it before CC? I read a VERY long post about not sanding BC but I am really confused now. What is the best fix if I should get some orange peel or a small run? (other than NOT getting them to begin with!) lol
Thanks in advance everyone!
Ron

Get the epoxy on and then the next day shoot your BC/CC and yes you can sand out and repair base coat..done everyday by painters who are real humans..Where the confusion comes is that if everything goes perfect one does not need to sand or repair his work between coats but since we do not live in a perfect world we sometimes have to fix an error..

Thanks Sam!
That was me breathing a sigh of relief.
Is it a problem to apply the epoxy seal coat and then spray the BC/CC a week later? I have time issues with getting my "helper" (son) only 1 day a weekend because of his work schedule.
More 2 cents is appreciated!
Ron

I understand the time issues..In that case get the epoxy on then sand it with 600 just lightly to get some tooth in it..then activate the base when you shoot it...

Thanks!

Thanks again Sam.
I was hoping it was the case.
It seems the more I read, I find there are lots of different ideas and opinions. At times it is very confusing for newbies like me.
I went to my local paint supply house and they acted like I was wasting their time asking questions on products I had just bought from THEM! I am thankful for the huge knowledge base here.

Sam is a gem. I posted a couple of years ago with some questions about a '40 Ford I was painting. Sam PM'ed me and gave me his #. We talked back and forth and his advice was right on target. If he says it, I would take it as a knowledgeable answer!
