Newbie with an extra Singer 211G-156

Hello. I'm an aspiring hot-rodder in that I have a 1971 Suburban that I occasionally try to do things to. Towards that end, I bought a Singer 211G-156 a few years ago with intentions to make my own seat covers and door panels. I have since had to tone down my aspirations a bit, and would like to sell the sewing machine.

I bought it off ebay from a guy who ran an upholstery shop and he had just had it tuned up and oiled. I went down to the garage to take pictures of it this morning and it was still in the box it came in. Unfortunately, while I was maneuvering it for pictures, I broke off one of the pins on the front side. See pics below. Can you tell me what was broken and how much it will cost to repair?

Thanks! -Jamie

Jamie: I'm sorry, but you can't advertise in the tech forums. You need to put this in the classifieds. I am going to edit your post but leave it here. What exactly did you break?

Never mind, what you broke was the top stud that holds the upper tension discs on the tension assembly. All of those parts are readily available, it's not a big deal. The entire tension assembly sells for $30. The stud itself is $7. If you kept the rest of what you broke off you have everything you need to fix it with a new stud.

OK, thanks. Sorry about that. I'll re-post in classifieds. Yes, I have the other parts.
