Newbie with new project

Howdy folks from Omaha, Ne. Just sold my 57 Chevy and starting on a 49 Plymouth p-17 2-dr fastback. Staying on the stock side with a little taildragger look. Great little car with visor, factory spotlight, and the old flat six, so far have a dual carb setup, thinking split exhaust manifold or headers, straight pipes with shark tips, and getting it on the road. It hasn't run for 6 years so hope it will. Doing new brakes, radiator tested, new hoses, and that usual stuff. So here goes!!

Welcome to the site. You sure don't see those slantbacks around much anymore - not that I saw a lot of them around 55 years ago either.

You will find lots of info and opinions here. To get the most out of the site check out the Knowledge Base and use the search function for quick answers to your questions. As well check out the Project Journals for info and inspiration. Glad to have you here and enjoy the site.
