Thanks, Bob! (You're not so "bad". ) Well, now I'm stuck with this primer and no product sheet for it. I must be the only person in the free world without a fax machine so.... Doesn't look like MS posts them on the internet.
You are right, of course. If I'm going to pursue this painting thing I'm going to have to either find a local dealer who's helpful or buy off the internet and keep my fingers crossed that at least I'll save money on my mistake materials! lol
Hauling the car to get yet another estimate on having someone else do it today. Frankly, I'm tired of fighting with my husband over the amount of work we should put into a paint job on this car. He maintains that I may want a different car in a couple of years so we shouldn't get carried away with dumping large amounts of time and money in this body but I think I like the old wagon too much to want to part with it anytime soon and I'm morally opposed to paying someone to shoot paint over the rust. If he tells me one more time that it's "just a race car" I'm going to swat him with the broom!

When can I put gas in a newly painted gas tank?

Hi--I'am new and didn't know how to post a question so I did it this way! I just painted a motorcycle gas tank with Acrilic enamel, I put the last clear coat on Sunday,I used the hardener, my question is how long should I wait before I put gas into the tank? Thanks a lot--Dennis
