Newbie Vortec Head question.

Hey, Does it matter which side the head goes on? There are mounting holes drilled on both sides so I cant tell which is which.

No it doesn't unless there is a sending unit in the head and that head with the sending unit needs to go to a certain side in order for the connection to plug in. If no sending unit, doesn't matter.

Well good times. No sending unit in the heads, temp gauge is on the intake. Thanks a lot.
