newer center section for this rear end 39 olds sedan

does anybody know if i can get a newer center section for this rear end
or you may call it a punkin
where can i get brakes for it or wheel bearings

I'm thinking 39-56 were all basically the same, Pontiac and Olds; the biggest difference was in the axle spline count. One had 10 splines, the other 16, but I don't remember which one was Olds, and which one was Pontiac. There's a lot of info over on JalopyJournal.Com in the HAMB section. Butch/junior stocker.

Kanter carries lots of old car parts but they are expensive.. I always check my Napa store first, and try an olds club-forum first . sometimes you can find pieces from later and cheaper cars that will work.
