carsavvycook MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM mmmmmmmmmmmm GOOD! LOL's

It's been over 2 years trying to 'grow' my business, and letting the fishes 'grow'. From the local fishing reports it seems the fish are waiting for me to come back. LOL

Sometimes you have to make time! I'm hoping for a replay of this trip. My buddies first time out bass fishing. Never had a trip like it since! LOL But it was a blast! Live well was full!

Jmark Well, it seems to work. Got it uncovered today and gassed it up, pumped the bulb until it was hard and not a drop lost! Cool! Cranked about 10 seconds and fired right up.

Got a new battery, greased the bearings and put on my new stickers and may hit the lake Monday!

carsavvycook Good deal. Bon Voyage!

Jmark I believe so. My son brought over a huge selection of 0-rings. We matched up one that was the same and I put it in the fitting. Then went outside and clicked it on the fitting. If slid on snug and had good resistance when I tried to turn the fitting. I "think" it's going to be fine. I need gas in the tank to ck it fully, hopefully, next Saturday i'll find out for sure!!

carsavvycook I hope it works out easy for you.

Just don't fish "with.................. naw I'll PM you with this. LOL

Technical fishing techniques.

Jmark Well, gee, that was hard! took it off the hose, brought it in the shop, got my dental pic and pulled it right out. Appears to be metric so I called my son the Lexus tech and he's on his way over with a metric nitrile kit. Appears I'll be in this for just a little labor! Cool! Now, need one new battery and some gas and I'm ready to go.

Jmark 4jaw. That looks like the tank end of mine. I have two, 6 gallon tanks under the back deck. They work fine.

I'm going to go pull the quick disconnect and see if there is a way to either get it apart, change 0-rings, or use my air hammer and grinder to get to em!!

4 Jaw Chuck Switch it out for a universal style connector, if thats the end that goes into the tank you will have to do the tank too.

Much easier to get parts for the Merc/Yamaha/Mariner style as below.

Everybody has these style connectors, they are dirt cheap and fit nearly any tank on the market.

machine shop tom If you have a NAPA store nearby, you might want to see if they have anything like it or if they can order it for you. I was surprised at the amount of marine stuff we got in when we changed to NAPA. They have quite an involved parts book for marine items.

I'm not shilling for NAPA. I'm not real thrilled about their performance (or lack of) business.

carsavvycook Is yours a 2 stroke, or 4 stroke outboard?
