Every specific engine buildup/combination will like something different. There is no way of knowing.

i have ran a cheep 2" carb spacer on my sbc and it was rated to improve the fuel mileage and it did by close to 1-2 mpg power diffrence not all that noticeable. thought for about 20 bucks i had no complaints. i beleve that it provides a better air fuel mixture

this was not a tapered riser

techinspector1 Chris, I think you'll find that this is a purely experimental exercise that may or may not improve power.

Help with carb spacers

I have an Autolite 4100 carb and I'd like to know what spacer would be recommend to use with it?
Also, is there any advantage to using 2" over 1" and tapered bores versus non?
