The answer to your question is yes you can put a rectangle port intake on a oval port head. But you have to run rectngle port intake gasket . it has been done several times . And it will work but IMO it is not the best thing to do. I am sure someone on here will dissagree . Lot of good people on here to help in every area. Cole
