I've check the archives and can't really tell if I'm missing anything. The dipsick tube I have and it's supposed to go with the block. The tube itself extends into the block about 6".(shoulder on the tube) The question I have is what if anything is missing,The tube is loose in the block, not way loose just that it wiggles and doesn't seem as though it should be that way. Like there is a very thin sleeve that should be in the block or something. I've only taken 1 other (old) engine apart and that one was a struggle to get the tube out. It just seems like if it was running there would be a mist or seepage from the dipstick tube hole in the block. I know the crankcase isn't supposed to be pressurized but it just seems too loose.I'd rather deal with it now before it goes back into the vehicle. Thanks, Eric
