Hi....just registered. I'm in Ohio, and spend most of my time rebuilding, fixing, or tweaking my 2 vehicles. I have a '66 Chevy 2 SS....I hate to call it a Nova, because it really wasn't called that back in '66. It is a Pro Street, 421 stroker, tubbed, tube frame, show car that I take to test/tune occasionally. My best time to date is 10:54 @ 127 mph, but I'm determined to get in the 9's. I have a 200 nitrous shot that hasn't been used yet....I'm not sure about the best approach, and I don't want to blow the new motor. I also have a '71 Vega Pro Street, 406 small block, P/G, which I bought in December as a project. I'm just about finished and ready to try it out. The previous owner had raced it street use....and claimed 9:80's. I've enhanced the motor with tunnel ram and 2 660 hollies, new Harland Sharp valve train, and new bottom end. I will post pics when I figure out the procedure. If it is may be a while.
