moretork Cleaning up and welding where the factory left off certainly doesn't hurt. As far as locating the control arm mounting point rearward, I'm planning to use an offset mounting shaft (1/8") which will help get the 4 degree pos. caster I'm looking for. Of course, if you use aftermarket control arms they have extra caster built in....

moretork I'm doing the same upgrades to my '69 and have the same thoughts. Check out this website for lots of good info on the 'mod' and more on first gen camaros. Something else to consider is a raised upper balljoint that basically does the same as the g-mod without any modification. The site is pozziracing.com......e

Should i do the GULDSTRANG MOD

Im rebuilding the front end on my 68 Camaro with new poly bushings, shocks and new 2" drop springs want it corner better and get rid off bump steer. I have read about the GULDSTRAND MOD where u drill new hols for the upper A arm mount for better Camber, has any one tried this is it any good for a street car
