The hydraulic cylinder on my lift is leaking fluid and I have acquired a seal replacement kit. The problem is that I have never replaced the seals and the kit did not come with instructions. Does anyone know of a web link with instructions?
I would advise you take the cylinder to a reputable hydraulic repair facility and let them install the seal for you. They have the proper tools to not only perform the operation with ease, and also to not damage the cylinder in the process.
I agree with vince,You also have to think about the Safety part. At least you will know that they did it right..
