DanTwoLakes Twin needle machines are generally used as a dedicated machine for one specific operation in a production sewing facility. They obviously have a lot more parts that can go wrong with them and need to be kept in perfect time, so unless you are a sewing machine mechanic and do a lot of boat covers or French seams the machine wouldn't be that useful to you. Only you can decide if it's worth it to have a machine that has such limited uses.

twin needle machine

Guys,

I am wondering if it is worth keeping a twin needle consew 239r-1, at the moment i have a singer 211(white machine) and a singer 132k6.

Yesterday i picked up the twin needle and only got 10 minute to sew with it, today at work i got to use it a little more. I have it till saturday to see if i like it or ill get my money back or ill swap it for last made 211.

Just like some thoughts from you guys n what you think of the twin needle machines as today at first it got a little messy jumping from machine to machine.

Regards
Dave
