DoubleVision The block needs to be taken to a machinist so he can mic the bores and tell you if you can get away with just a hone and rering job or if it has to be overbored. If the bores are too far out and you do a basic rering your wasting your time and money, as it won`t last long before it goes to smoking.

cleaning pistons and bores

ive goit a 96 jeed cheroke and i am curently rebuilding it and i needed to know the best and most efficiant way to clean my pistons and the bores without oversizeing them if you have any suggestions let me know this is my first engine rebuild and advise would be appriciated thanks
