|1Bad406sbc||I would go with a dynabrade, or a hutchins. Both are VERY good sanders.|

|jss||thats true.. most tools call for 30 sec run time after oiling|

Use common sense! remove the disc, oil the DA away from your work, run for a minute, wipe it down, reattach the disc and go to work. The best way to screw anything up is to hurry, hurry, hurry ,take your time and do it right.

I have had a few da sanders through the years and wanted to add the smoothest and lightest in my box is a Dynabrade 6 inch. I have oppted not to oil it since new figuring if it dies or locks up it will have been worth not getting oil out the exhaust onto a panel causing a fisheye.
More than ten years of daily use with no tool oil in it at all...

this the one I have should be just fine for most da's
what about brands like DynabradeDYNALOCKE?
for hutchins looks like this is the only model for palm style da. is this what u all are talking about?

One thing to keep in mind is any air sander will use a lot of air and you might want to post the compressor you are using to help in that choice, constant stopping and starting can be a pain.

|oldred||You asked what's the best DA? That would be the Hutchins but there are some less costly DAs out there that will get the job done just stay away from the Harbor Freight types. If you want the best most reliable DA then check out Hutchins.|
