Probably, taking everything from the T-Bird. Motor mounts and frame mounts, trans mount and crossmember, engine and trans, shift linkage and carb kickdown link, and the driveshaft. Everything should be a bolt-in, only thing that might trip you up is needing to change the driveshaft length. Not to be a Dic* but if you can't figure things like this out as you go or lack any automotive experience, you are in over your head, find a friend or someone local to you who knows Fords.

ford pickups had c6s with 351w and 302s,infact i have a c6 bolted to the 302 in my 32ford, c6s came in many bolt paterns, 390 bp 302 351w 351csame 451m 400m 429 460 same cliff

wieber what if i had a complete 77 t-bird to take the drive train out of? its got a 351w but im not sure if it has a c4 or c6. does anyone know if i could make that work? i know that the wheel base is longer by a couple of inches on my gt

ericnova72 Yes, you could use a small block/straight six bolt pattern C6, but you have to change the whole trans, the C6 doesn't have a removable bellhousing like the C4 does. 351/302 Windsor engines won't bolt to 351M/400/429/460 bolt pattern trans.

Still glad you are a Ford man??

wieber was there no car that came with a 351w and a c6? can't i use a bellhousing from that?

ericnova72 There is no way to hook the C6 that is in the car now (it has a Big Block bell housing bolt pattern) to a 351W. You will have to change the trans, mount, maybe the crossmember, and the driveshaft to put a Windsor combo in there.

wieber yes, this is my daily driver, and no i don't have the engine/trans. i am going to take a look at it this week. the guy selling its said that its been stored for the past ten years and that it ran when it was removed from the car (not rebuilt). i mostly want to know what modifications i would have to make and what parts i will need. i want to use the c6 thats in the car now though as i have a transpak that im waiting to install

hey guys, i have a 76 gran torino coupe with a 351m and a c6 trans. i just bought the car and after doing a compression and leak down test, found that i have some leaking piston rings. since i need the car to drive everyday i can't pull it out and rebuild it. instead i was thinking of putting in a 351 windsor. i know the motor mounts and bellhousing are different. i was wondering what all i would need to make this work. the engine i'm looking at is a w out of a 77 granada and has a c4 bolted up to it. any help is greatly appreciated
