62 impala

i was told that u could use a geo metro brake power booster on hot rods due to there size and still have plenty of power to work the brakes. Ok here is what i got I have a 62 impala and have put a big block 454 in it i have bought a disk brake conversion kit for it well the power booster is to big and sits on the valve cover. so i talk to a guy at an parts store and he said that hotrodders use a geo metro power booster in there cars because of there size well a 62 impala carring a 454 is a pretty heavy car and not sure if this be enough power to work if any could help with this i would appreciate it very much thank you.
