Yes it has the foam backing, i will buy better scissors for next time. I will try the puddy knife and see if it helps the look.

DanTwoLakes I assume you used the stuff that already had the foam bonded to it. I cut it with a good scissors.

Are you talking about trimming it after it's up on the roof? If so, you need to leave it a little long and then push it down into the rubber seal. I use a heavy putty knife with the corners ground off to do that. That will leave you with a nice clean edge.

98 Nissan headliner redone

Heres the headliner i did for my friend. It was really bad had a bunch of tacks holding it up.....looked like stars....lol

I do have a question about cutting headliners material. What do you use to cut it i used a razor blade but it didnt cut it good. After i finished i thought about a electric knife might have been better.
