My son has a 89 GMC 2500 that we can start ok but can not shut off with the ignition switch (must pull fuse) , have replaced switch but still same problem. Also, I have disconnected the alternator but still no different. What am I missing here? Thank you ... bob - k6zly r.wold@comcast.net
check your ignition wiring, sounds like it's not killing power to your truck, another think you can try is to say hot wire the truck using the wires on the switch, red is power, purple starter as soon as it starts touch red to pink and hold together, when pulled apart the truck should shut off if not you have a direct short or chafffed wires somewhere .
There is no advertising on the board. :spank: :spank: :spank: :spank: :spank: Me thinks me hear the dump truck backing up.BEEP!!!!BEEP-BEEP-BEEP. SPAMMER ALERT!!!!
