lluv2run well, i think you are on the righ track. if it is going to be a daily driver, the 383 is a good choice of motor. for a tranny, all i can say is6 speed baby!!! get down to your local junkyard and get a new 6 spd out of a camaro (95 up z28, ss) you will want to run a big aluminum radiator, as the motor will run a little hot. probably a 360 degree thermostat. msd ignition, coil, ad billet distrubtor. hooker headers, flowmaster 40 series delta flow (less inerior nosie)frd 9 inch rear with strange axles. can you say prostreet? the possiblities are endless. just put some creative thinking into it and have some fun. emember, build it to drive.

i want to drop a 383 stroker in a el camino what would be a desent set up? i was looking for some opinions
