Sinister A lot of guys use Blazer tanks. You still have to fab up a fuel fill though. I've seen fuel fills in stake pockets, side markers, tail lights and the bed. You should check out: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/

sbc307 I bought the the kit from lmc truck it was like $200 plus shipping, came with new 21 gallon tank, straps, new sending unit... If fits right where the spare tire use to go. You have to grind the rivets off the support the old tire up, get that piece out of there, then put tank up with a jack see where ur straps line up drill holes bolt the one end up and the other they give you J-bolts, extend the gasline back and sending unit wire, hook that up and mount tank.... then where the fill up neck is on tank you have to notch the frame out and basically put ur fill spot anywhere in the bed you want..... Its pretty simple just take your time and you'll be fine. Also if you go on my profile under my pics, there a pic of the rear of my truck, you can see part of the tank and the fuel fill up in the bed. sbc307

OneMoreTime If you go with the suburban tank for those years you can wind up with a factory installation..might be easier than re-inventing the wheel..
