im about to buy a blazer from a friend. she has told me that the break lights do not work and the turn signals do not work, she said she has changed all the fuses but still nothing i was wondering how hard it would be to rewire them?
Make sure the bulbs are good.
1- The two problems may not be related. Bad flasher and bad brake light switch.
OR 2- the two problems may be related. Bad turn signal switch.
If the hazard flashers don't work look at item 2.
If the hazard flashers work look at item 1.
See attached diagram.
If the turn signals work and the taillights work, then
the brake light switch must be at fault.
The switch is probably located under the dash, attached
and activated by the brake pedal. Very simple to replace.
