Yep, right there in the VIN among all the random numbers you see in a VIN is the Company name or at least what most people call them, on every car they make.

NO shame in going pointless, Brian. I have been installing Pertronix III's in my Chev's. They go right in the original distributor. The ONLY telltale clue is the 2 wires coming out to the coil instead of 1. I buy the flat black coils to match and with opening the plugs to .045, I get much better starting and off the line response. I think Marge would actually love you for putting a little "spark" in her life...
