327NUT ShopAl......yes you are here to sell your test stand or you wouldn't leave your web site info. You've already been jacked by a moderator for that and you're doing it again. We do appreciate your expertise in this matter but you have to follow the rules.......which are no advertising in the forum. Hot Rodders has a classified section and it's FREE.

Guys, there are many ways to do the engine start and run test stand. First let me say I am a car guy. 70 El Camino , Corvette and a 55 Chevy.... I am not here to sell my run stand. I do know there can be some confusion when it comes time to build or buy. Yes, you can build one. If you have the time, skill, equipment to build a safe run stand. That is what hot rodding is about. If you need help, then all I ask , do you home work. Look for safety in construction, safety in the use of the stand, quality and versatility. Put your plan together, figure your cost in engineering, materials, chasing the parts, and construction.
there is satifaction is completeing your pproject. Have fun diong it. Should you decide it may be more cost effective to invest in a quaitly piece of equipment. Please take a look at the Easy-Run Engine Test Stand. We can help... Thanks, Al ***************

327NUT I think Harbor Freight sells them and you can look on ebay, I've seen them and plans to build your own on there. Why don't you just google "engine test stand"...probably get a few hits.

spinn Do it yourself. Grab some 4x4 and 2x4's , a 4pin GM module, mecahnical fuel pump, used flywheel, and connect starter. Start to box out the lower oil pan rail, support the back with a Tee peice. Connect the 4 PIN gm module for the ignition be it MOPAR Ford, or GM does not matter . The cooling system can be a radiator core with vacuum cleaner hose.
