Cape Cod Bob - Master Cylinder
Thank you for following up with me. I really appreciate that! Yea, all worked out great. All the air I was getting a lot was coming from the one person brake bleeder.
I have plenty of peddle, slows and stops fine.

M/C - Starter
I rebuilt the M/C and bench bled it, still Huh i.e. a lot of air while I replace all of the brake fluid.
I bench tested the starter, it's shot. I ordered a rebuilt yesterday.

I would have bleed the master cylinder on the bench. Then install it in the vehicle and just bleed the fitting at the master cylinder.
But now you have to bleed the system until there is no more air bubbles coming out of the bleeders. Look on the bright side...you will have all new fluid in the system when you are finished.
Charge the battery before you replace any parts. If you know the battery is good then move on to the next item. Solenoid maybe. If it does not make a sound or if it just clicks.
To be sure connect a battery jumper cable from the positive battery terminal to the starter connection. That is the bolt that goes into the starter. If the starter turns then yes the solenoid needs to be replaced.

Due to my back stuff, I just was able to bleed the brakes after replacing the M/C. I'm getting a lot of air out of the lines. Is that to be expected. I bled the brakes and don't recall this much air... It has been awhile

|chevyrestore||if you rebuild that cylinder yourself make sure you use some grease for those seals. theres a special grease we use on a lot of them...if theres a pushrod between the cylinder and pedal make sure its there and its the correct one.|

I bread the M/C, with a home made bleeder, bolted it onto the firewall. I went to start the car, as it has sat for a week to charge the battery. I think now the started solenoid is out. Uuurrggg...
