Just post an ad saying that it came out of a 1994 Thunderbird. Because it did. Even if it was originally installed in something else, you pulled it out of a 1994 Thunderbird. That's honest.

There's not some bit of info that you're going to find that'll suddenly make it more desirable. It's a 15+ year old V6, that you're trying to sell in a market that is limited by the number of people who are trying to keep vehicles running that might still use that motor. It's going to be worth a couple hundred bucks, tops, no matter how you slice it. Sorry dude. Best to limit the amount of time that you spend on it between now and the time that someone else hauls it away - time is money, after all.

Edit:
Cobalt's link just happened to have a pic of a 1994 Thunderbird installation:

Is that what yours looks like? Yes? Then it's stock.

cobalt327 From the wikipedia on the Essix V6:

A nine-digit serial number appears on a label on the right side (front) valve cover. It also appears on a barcode label on the transmission side of the right side head.

Applications:

1982 Ford Granada
19821983 Ford F-series
19821997 Ford Thunderbird
19821997 Mercury Cougar
19821986, 19942004 Ford Mustang
19821986 Mercury Capri
19831986 Ford LTD and Mercury Marquis
19881995 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable
19881994 Lincoln Continental
19952003 Ford Windstar

benwantland Many grocery-getter sedans had coil packs and tubular exhaust manifolds - stock - at least a half a decade before your car was built. Yours was probably built that way and not worth getting excited about.

3.8 liter ford mystery motor

hi again i have a question on a engine that i have for sale it is a 3.8 liter ford engine that i took out of a 1994 ford thunderbird the question i have is the heads on this have huge exhaust ports it had factory shorty headers and instead of a distributor it has a coil pack i was wandering if this was possibly the supercoupe engine that some one just switched the intake on also i found a recyclable energey sticker on the valve covers is this a e85 burning engine or something else im confused at this point lol
