Motochris For that exact reason... was hoping to find something for less that has had good results. I went with the Walker in my 37, as they literally were the ONLY company to offer a bolt-in radiator for that truck.
I know a number of racers using the Griffin radiators with good results...but Griffin has many different levels of radiators. I don't know that the cheaper ones would work as well.
I've used PWR in some offroad projects... wasn't happy with them, had leaking issues over time.

Irelands child If you have a Walker and it's doing the job, why even consider something else. They work. They have a great warranty. They are NOT cheap . I had my '31 out on Sunday, 85+ degrees, and the temp with the Walker in the car only turned the fan on after about a 10-15 minute idle and at 190 waiting to move in a line of cars.

Motochris Oh, also... opinions on crossflow vs. top to bottom style tanks?

Radiator brand preferences?

Just seeing who's had good luck with what. I have a '59 Chevy wagon that is running warmer than I want, still has stock radiator..though in good shape.
I have a '37 Ford pickup with a Walker radiator..cools in in any conditions well. Want the same for my '59.
What are you guys happy with?
