prostreet6t9 If you have a 8" diff you might check randy's.They have a cut to fit axle for those.

lmsport For 5 lugs, you will need custom axles.
Try Dutchman or Moser.
You might find a small bearing cut-to-fit axle so measure your existing axles and check with Randys.

Irelands child Some of these 6 cylinder Mustangs had the tried and true 8" rear end even with the 4 lug axles. If so, remove the old axles and brakes and install a donor version from a V8 or possibly any Maverick/Comet. Then some Mustangs had that dinky remove the back cover 'C' clip unit. BUT - it would be much, much easier to find a complete 8" rear end and bolt in place then to fool with Ranger axles which most likely are too wide and probably will not work.

mustang rear end

would like to up grade to 5 lug wheels on a 66 mustang rear end.does anyone know if ford ranger axles would work.if so what years would fit
