Well !!!! I started cutting the iron yesterday at around 4:eek:o .. This is going to be another homemade hot rod... I was going to keep this one behind the doors.. But why not let everyone see it in the making... It will not be built in 75 hours.. I will be taking this one ''ALL'' the way.. I aways thought the pizza wagon was so cool.. I was going to make one just like it, But decided to make it my own.. SOMETHING DIFFERENT.. The pizza wagon was done already.. Time for a new one.. I hope everyone enjoys the build and thread.. Feel free to speak up.. THE AMPS ARE NOW BURNING !!! :mwink:

To me it's just one more great thing I was awarded with in my life....

All the good you do for people a long the road of life, And sometimes think, was it all worth it.. :drunk:
And get slapped in the face most of the time for helping someone... Well !!!! It's things like this that show up in life and remind you why you do what you do... ;)
Then you can stand there and say.... Yes it was ALL worth it.... ;)
Again a Big Thanks to The crew at Gearz for picking me... ;)

I wish I could see it, don't have the speed channel. Randy, is there anything else on the episode? I don't know anything about Gearz but when I had my son who has the Speedchannel look it up he found nothing on a truck like yours. I can have him record it for me if I can tell him what episode.

Been away for a few weeks, but had the last few weeks of Gearz to catch up on taped and what should I see but a familiar face. Congrats on the coverage, too bad Stacy has moved on to air filters for the give away. In the past he has given welding helmets, jackets, brake bleaders and Dake arbor presses that a scratch builder could use.

I have nothing against airaid.... I just didn't really need anything from them.. I'm happy about winning, Just hate to get something I really don't need...But a big thanks goes out to airaid.. The arbor press, are welding stuff would have been very nice... I did get a few nice things from Greaz... I have to give them a call to thank them.....I guess I'm just going to add a cold air to my truck...

Oh !!! I think someone was asking if they wanted the c-cab Back when it was done..... They didn't ask... So we will see....

What I do on all of mine is,,,
I figure out what I need to cut off,,
Put tape around the bottom, And cut it off with a cut off wheel,,
Then I drill out the two little dimples on the side's that hold's the Bushing in at the bottom,,
Now.. once you do all this, And you have the bottom piece in your hand with the bushing ,,
Place it into a vise,,,
I then carefully knock out the bushing,, (it's easier to knock it out once the bottom piece is cut off the column) :D
Then put it into the other good part...(column) Knock it in carefully..
Now.. take a center punch and add a couple of dimples to hold the bushing in.. Just try not to move the shaft to much....

I have done this to a lot of column's like this... Never had a problem... Just don't try to tilt it without the bushing in it..I never take the column apart when I do one..

Or you can just take everything a part.. ;)

Truck look's GREAT !!!!!
