TucsonJay Thanks Junkie. I don't draw much any more, unless it is for a paint concept, or a piece of art going into a paint scheme. I still wonder how I had a broader imagination back then???

Ford Junkie That's some neat stuff Jay! You'll have to get in on the contests more often.

Very cool
And since my understanding is that a Meteor is basically a Merlin de-tuned for a tank, and thus similar in size and weight to an Allison, it proves that my idea is doable

That would be my choice too! I don't have pictures... but a friend here in Tucson built a very long '30s roadster with a big aircraft engine. It has a hood, so it's not THAT obvious... but impressive anyway! I would want it to show! :-)~

Take care.
Thanks. I can't even imagine losing all of the old drawings! At least with the net, there is some chance of getting them back. A friend of mine also has them in his computer, so he is another of my "backups". :-)

We seem to share that "art & cars" gene! Like other car genes... there is no cure! :-)

I keep thinking about the old Stroker McGurk cartoon about the dragster getting blown away by what appears to be a stock delivery truck .....
At least it appears that way until they remove the body in the pits to reveal an Allison in the back

TucsonJay I'm bored. Nothing on TV, and I only have about 100-150 channels! :-(

Here are a few more...

I know what you mean about singing... but I don't let it stop me. I just don't do it in public, since somebody always calls the paramedics! :-)

Yes, I have more. I'll post some later. But I really want to see other enthusiasts drawings too. :-)
