|spc78||I used Eastwood's Rust Encapsulator, then seam sealed, then coated it all with Eastwood's Chassis Black. Looks very crisp and clean.|

And I'd use some sort of epoxy on the floors since it's new clean metal.

Why don't you want to use POR 15?
I am using window flashing (the kind you can get at Lowes/ home depot) it's an 1/8th inch thick and has a metal backing. It's much cheaper and goes on great. If you put the coatings on it doesn't matter what color the paint is and your using on the floor only anyway. (Inside)
If you want to go on the outside I would still use POR 15 or you could use Master's Series.
If you don't want to use something so expensive then use Farm Implement paint at any paint store it's bullet proof.

brush on paint for new floor pan
I have all new sheet metal floors, firewall and rear trunk area in my Austin a40.I am trying to figure what paint is going to work best,I plan on using a brush on paint. And I dont want ot use por 15 I have been looking at Summit chassis paint which is a 2 part epoxy that can be brushed on bare metal.
Anyone have any suggestions on what paint and what seam sealer would work best. And should I seam seal before or after painting
