|51chrysler||I use a 10x10 canopy that I got from home depot and tape plastic sheeting to it for walls. My parts come out mint the only problem is that there is very low ventilation so after each coat i have to let it air out before I go and start another coat.|

here is one link. maybe the original.
It is extremely long, you pretty much need to read the whole thing, cause some of the early stuff was changed or improved later.

Painting a car with a roller
I can identify with the rebuilding of the rusty car. I owned a 1940 Packard for several years, and it had some rust issues, but not quite as bad as this chevelle sounds.
I recently read an article about a fellow that repainted a Ford Ranger with a roller. No kidding! He did a lot of priming and sanding, but he used Rustoleum and got a really nice result. He buffed out the final coat and the truck looked good. It was stated that there have been other articles on this type of painting, and I would like to see them. Has anyone out there attempted this? I also heard years ago that it is possible to paint a car with a brush and get great results, but it also said that quality brushes, proper paint consistancy and lots of practice were needed to produce good results. In any case, it is a fascinating idea. Skyraker

portable pray booth
now here's a thinking man !!! you need to look into a patent before someone
else does. GREAT IDEA ! your exhuast fan set up made me think about changing my exhuast system to a dry filter type. my fumes ae forced through
a series of water spray nozzles mounted on a 3/8" pipe.the fumes & over spray pass through the spray and a very small amount of fumes are noticeable

[QUOTE=evintho]This is, by far the coolest portable paint booth I've ever seen!
Question-how is the end section attached? Is it hinged to the permanent wall or ?
That looks totally doable even for an idiot like me.
