SSedan64 It does have high Pr.
Inspect all the Servo seals 2/4 & Cover & reinstall, it should hold. Probably wasn't seated properly.

4l60E servo cover question

I recently put in the larger corvette servo piston in my truck and two days later its puking fluid and the case is chipped. It is chipped from the bottom of one of the two small reliefs in the servo boss (to access the snap ring) diagonally outward. I am missing less than 1/4" of the actual snap ring groove.

I must have not fully seated the snap ring because the cover cocked sideways and popped it loose.

Do you think I could stab the servo assembly one more time and re seat the snap ring and it would still seal ok with the small chunk missing? Is that servo cover O-ring under full line pressure?

Thanks
