eloc431962 Sounds like you have a series 2 rearend with the 2:73s and if so yes it should work fine if the 3:23 are for the series 2 rearend also.JMO
3:08:1 & down gear ratios - Series 2 case 3:23:1 & up gear ratios - Series 3
But they do have the 3:23 for the series 2, just don't know what exactly the 3:23 you have came out off. JMO

1990 caprice with rear end upgrade questions

Hey wats up guys need a lil help... have my 90 caprice 305 tbi 200r4 trans rebuilt with 2000 rpm stall. I was told my vehicle has a 7.5 10 bolt rear with 2.43 gears. Stumbled across some parts for cheap one was a ring and pinion set with 13-42 gm 7 5/8 stamped i was told it was 3.23 gears which is perfect with 28 teath on the pinion i was just wondering if its true by any chance and will it work with my 7.5 rear and yes its a 10 bolt as well
