kick panels

My 67 kick panels have vents that extend inwards abot 4 inches or so
On my 67 I had to pull the entire emergency (parking) brake pedal assy. in order to install them.
i hope this helped

69 camaro kick panels

I'm needing to take out my kick panels and I've removed the bolts that hold the emergency brake assembly in place. It still is extremely difficult getting the panel out though. Is it worth the hassle to remove the cable so I can get the assembly out of the way or will I get into more trouble doing this?
