cherry540 yea I like the vent windows too mine are too far gone to rebuild I was trying to save the almost 600 to get new ones. Thanks for the info Ron

Houston54 I like the vents in my 54. Here is the rebuild sequence I documented when I did my 54 vent windows. It is so easy you might want to keep yours.

Trying to make the 54 doors into one piece glass style doors is not impossible but does require significant effort. Here is a write up one of the truck rags did some time back on one of these trucks.

Want to remove the vent windows from my 54 chevy truck. Got the run channels and glass figured out. How do i make the beaded window seals along the top of door. work. Can order a set for a 50 witch had solid widow?
