|502ben||Well, the chrysler parts are all 71' newport with 76' rear cylinders. And some performance pad's,shoes, braided lines and adj. valve. All new but, the stock valve. I'll do alittle reading at the link you sent and I don't know a cyrus but may know him if I saw him. What type or brand of vehicle and would he goto the dragstrip?|

Lots of things going on here.
First you changed front drums to disc on the chysler?
Did you change the master to a later style master with the larger resevoir for the disc?
The original master will run the brakes , and if it is for a drum drum system then it is probably a smaller bore which will give a higher ratio of application force per lbs of force applied to pedal verses a master with a larger bore, which is typical for a disc- drum setup with power assist.
You should go to Dean Oshiros website and do some reading.
Do a little reading here,it will answer a lot of your questions.

Brake Swap Question
I have two projects on the go and have swapped discs on one so far but think I have the rear line connected wrong. Its a 67' Newyorker and I hooked the rear line from master to adj. proportion valve, too stock valve, then too the diff. Should I have T-d off the front discs and got rid of the stock valve? I'm also doing the same on 57' chev 210. I've seen them done this way. Suprisingly the chrysler brakes pretty good but the pedal goes to far. Let me know what you think.
