|techinspector1||You might have a two-motor marine application also, where you want one of the motors to turn counter-clockwise. That would also require grinding the cam in reverse.|

|hpete||They reverse grind them so that you can use a two gear drive rather than a chain or idler gear. It's a good idea but overkill for most street cars. A custom grind is exactly that you call the camgrinder and give him your specs and he grinds it to order. Great if you know what your doing otherwise...|

Why do they reverse grind or custom grind cams do they work as well as a regular one.
I have a comp cam the lift is 488/465 in a 383 stroker.
