good primer over ok primer

im just about done with the body work on my chevy .i used pcl primer for blocking ,now i want to paint it ,i know i did not use the best primer ,i want to use ppg primer over this pcl primer for better adhesion of the ppg bc/cc .should i use any kind of sealer between the pcl primer and the ppg primer . i've painted cars using pcl primer but i want this paint job to last a long time .also what ppg sealer and primer do you recomend me using .
