I've read that the 41's sheetmetal is somewhat narrower than the 46- 48's and that sometimes narrowed control arms and careful front wheel choices are important..

I would like the front wheels to be tucked in as tightly as possible..

currently I have all the stock mustang II parts necessary to do the job, (except for the cross member itself) and I believe I even have a set of airbags to fit in place of the springs... :-)

sadly I dont have a stock 41 front axle.. (or any stock style front end parts for that matter)

I like the chassis engineering front cross member (the bolt in feature would make it go together quickly) however I am wondering if I might be better served with a slightly narrower cross member mady by someone else..

search turned up lots of thougths.. just need some real world experience..

any options?
Which frame are you using? The 41, or the 42/48 frame. the sheet metal from the 41 might not fit on the 42/48 frame, as the frame might be wider and the front won't match the cowl, or the grille area of the 41 is not wide enough.
