No the stock paint was gold but it has been repainted dark blue by somebody at some point.

The twist isn't too bad barely noticeable. The T-Tops don't leak either so I would say I am lucky.

swvalcon This car isn't dark brown metalic is it? Back when they where new I had a customer hit the ditch in the winter time and when he jumped a snow bank with it landing in the middle of the road it twisted so bad it poped one of the t-roofs out on to the road. It was a real pain getting it to pull out on a cheif frame rack and they are one of the best. I could get it to pull but couldn't get it to stay.

just like 80's mustangs

I have an 84 Capri RS T top 5.0. HO ..When I got it. It had been patched back together, Front fender Hood door and deck lid/ It had more than the typical cracks. I bought the Mustang sub frame kit and added 1 X 1/2 under each rocker, and made cross pieces along the body, under seats , and rear floor locations for the roll bar , a ladder on each side and made my own extra sub frame connector plates. It made a big difference in handling.

Anybody know the specs for how much it can be off by?

sideshowbh Unless you have frame tools, Like porta powers, cutting tools and welders. I would suggest taking it to a good collision repair man. I have a 77' TA. They are sweet rides. Jack it up on stands under the suspension and look to see if the floor pans are warped behind the sub frame.

body twisted

I have a 1978 Trans Am with T-Tops. I can notice the body being twisted a little. Nobody notices unless I point it out. Basically The passenger side roof slants down a little above the windshield and of course the drivers side is a bit higher. The back of the roof in between the T-Tops has a very slight buckle that you can feel by touching.

How would this be repaired?
