Stovebolt is the best place for hopup parts but there are a bunch of people with restoration stuff. Chevs of the 40s, Jim Carter are a couple of the best. I am currently rebuilding my 235 and am getting all my stuff from Stovebolt.

Also try Clifford Performance. He specializes in 6s.

I found a dual carb setup up at the swap meet this weekend. The guy had an offenhauser manifold with 2 rebuilt carters, aluminum valve cover and side cover and remote oil pump and all the linkage. He wanted $700 for the set. I don't think anybody bought it. I saw a lot of dual carb manifolds for 235s.

We just finished having a '54 235 built at Joe's Engine Shop in Concord. It's going in a '38 1/2 ton. It was punched to 244 and will put out 225 horses with good low end torque. We obtained the new parts from Tom at Stovebolt. He sells Clifford and other brand name parts for inline 6 engines. Here's a tip: don't let Tom talk your ear off when you call. He has a passion for those inline engines and will try to tell you about his working on them, when he worked @ G.M. He came through for us. Do it right, Fastgo

Welcome aboard!

You need to use the Classifieds for "Parts Wanted"- the forum isn't the place, according to the mods.
It also violates board guidelines:

*Don't post your email address on the board...

*Don't post ads for cars or parts. Classified ads are forbidden on the bulletin board.
