1971BB427 RTV Ultra Black gasket maker should seal it if you let it sit overnight. Wont even need to use a gasket with it.

Richiehd and I might add if its one of those Chinese chrome ones, scuff the side that adheres to the block with your whizzer wheel (Scotchbrite) that chrome is always an issue securing the sealer. Make sure those other bolts are not too long.

I would clean both the block mating surface and the plate with acetone, and immediately use some permatex (not silicon) and install the plate and let cure for at least 25hr before starting engine.

Fuel Pump block off oil leak

I am running a sbc with a fuel pump block off plate and I can't seem to stop the minor oil leak. I have replaced the gasket and tried silicone and I still get a drip. Heres the issue now... The last time a took the plate off the change the gasket I snapped a lower bolt when I was putting the plate back on. The bolt snapped inside the block and there is no way I can drill it out. Does anyone seeing a major issue with me permanently bonding the block off plate to the engine block? This seems to be my only option right now. What type of bonding product should I use?

Thanks in advance
