I know this is child's play for you guys, but I just painted two small plastic covers for my motorcycle with Krylon Fusion aerosol. I had the finish just the way I wanted it, and then removed the masking tape from the silver areas. There was some residue from the masking tape , and being the idiot I can be some times, I sprayed mineral spirits on both covers to remove the residue. Naturally, this ruined my new spray job.
Can I scuff this down and re-spray it, or how would I go about correcting what I wrecked? They don't have to be perfect, just reasonably smooth and gloss black. The picture is of the worst of the two.
