ford kickdown

Hi Eric32,

Thanks, that helps a lot. My truck is a GMC (1984) so I will not be using it.

eric32 If your talking about that inside lever with the hole in it that is for a ford kickdown cable I believe and unless your using your carburetor on a for automatic that uses a kickdown cable you wont be using it. Hope that helps.

Holley 600 cfm vacuum secondaries, electric choke (0-80457S)


Can someone explain what the part on the inside of the throttle assembly is for and whether there is a spring missing on mine. I could not find anything specific on that area online.
