Air ride

I was considering a cantilever set up with some form of triangulated system. I'm going to mock it up this weekend and see if the mechanics of it seem doable. If anyone has done this please post some pics and I will do the same when I figure it out

farna You can bag a straight axle, but will need something to locate the axle since the leaf springs will be gone. A four link as used in early Fords would work. Just takes some fabricating!.

51 chevy 3100 project air ride

I've just picked up a new project. A 51 chevy 3100. I've already done the easy part of tearing it down and have begun bodywork on the cab. I really want to keep the I beam straight axle front end but I want to bag it. Has anyone attempted this? I've got a few ideas but would like some input if its ever been done.
