69 widetrack I can finally sleep....I even went and researched....Nobody is right all the time and I've made my share of errors. You still have a really cool car and should post some pictures....I love all those 60's early 70's cars and have soft spot in my heart for the Pontiacs.

Old Fool Did you get a title for a nova or lemons?

So now that is all figured out. I am kinda upset too lol. I thought i was getting the nova... but the lemans is still pretty kickass looking. Knowing this, could someone give me a general pricing info so i know how much to put this thing up for?

I have been looking at some pictures online, and if i don't sell it. I might end up doing the minor body work it needs and throwing a nice paint job on it (since i paint myself) and just keeping it. Kinda really like the car when its all cleaned up and shiny.

again... i am so sorry for my ignorance. i know nothing about older cars.

that is the color, and wheels that are on it. Just old and dirty and not mint like this one.
Don't think a thing of it, it's no big deal you aren't suppose to know every car. The GM "A" body is one of the best, most all around cars ever made. Do a little study on it and you may just keep it.

lakeroadster I'm all in. Show us a photo.

My first car was a '70 Nova, love the Nova's. No "factory" hardtops made after 1967.

poncho62 Cool......However, if I were you I would check the title against the vin numbers on this car. There is no way a stock 69 Nova is a postless hardtop.......If the title says Nova, either its the wrong year or the wrong type of car. Be careful.

I'm so interested in seeing pictures of this car. Sounds like a steel of a deal. I'm going to do some checking but I have never seen nor heard of a 68 and up Nova without a post.

It's the sheet metal that's most important on these cars and that's what anyone buying or wanting a car like yours looks at first.

I'm growing more curious by the minute.

Thanks
Ray

Congratulations, glad you got the car. I love that body style and still maintain that all Novas of that era where post cars. PLEASE post (or "B" pillar) a bunch of pictures especially where the front and rear windows meet. I'd love to see the results of the potential "chop".

What kind of shape is the body in, any rust or damage? I think I can speak for everyone on this sight, we are all interested and extremely curious. How much did you end up helping your friend out with cash?

By the way, glad to see your back on the site, I was feeling kind of bad about the ribbing we gave you and thought we might have scared you off. That wasn't our intention, we where just having a bit of fun ( at your expense) and maybe got carried away. If I offended you, I apologize.

Again, PLEASE send pictures, I haven't stopped thinking of this since your first post.

Best of luck and if I can help, let me know.
