rear brakes.

I haven't researched it recently, I have some F 1 spindles, model A front Axle in the parts pile. I printed out the Info From the Hamb site on what parts to use to have self adjusting brakes and what the replacement part numbers are since most parts stores don't go back that Far. Also on the Hamb There is information on using Later model Chevy station wagon 12 " rear brakes on old Fords, and I think some other GM 12 " brake parts Fit. A lot of the Axle tubes are modified to use newer axles and bearings, get away from the old taper Shaft ends and keys,

Building a 29 model A truck and using 53-56 F100 brakes on the front and want to also use the F100 rims. I ordered all my front brake parts from Car Quest and I got rear drums instead of front. Now its been over a year later and I cant return them so wondering what what backing plates would work with the 53-56 rear drums.

I am going to be using a quick change in the rear so i have to get tubes and bearing flanges anyway.
