91CamaroDude Either my problem was that on the brass hose inlet port up against the core blew the seal, or it was damaged on its way out... Either way a new one will be in tomorrow and we will see if that's the issue. Thanks for the help.

302 Z28 If you cannot trace it down to hose you can pretty much assume it's the heater core.

91CamaroDude Yea its gonna be a pain, but do you think that is what it is? That's my only worry is just not knowing what's going on because I haven't ever seen this before

coolant leak behind ac/heater blower motor

I have a 91 carbed camaro. Last night I went for a little drive and came back and after parking I noticed a little drip running along the body of the car dripping off onto the ground. I imediately checked my heater hoses to make sure nothing came loose or cracked. Everything checked out. Completely dry. I had to really look around to find this leak and I found it to be coming out behind the ac/heater blower motor inside the engine bay. About 6 inches to the left of where the heater core is. I cant pinpoint and see if its running out of the firewall because of the blower motor. My question, (because the inside floor board is dry) is there some kind of drain hole on the firewall inside the engine bay that would allow cooland to drain out if something does happen to the heater core? That is the only explanation I can think of because there are no leaks running down the back side of the motor/transmission, and all freeze plugs are still in tact. I have a couple of pictures here, one with illustrations because of the dirtyness because you cannot really see the coolant leak. Thanks for the help in advance!
